We are eagerly preparing for our Family Friday Night Dinner & Batmi Shabbaton. The Shabbaton has proven to be the highlight of the Bat Mitzvah program for the girls, and we look forward to a wonderful experience this year. The program begins with a beautiful 3 course Dinner with all the families (Bubbas, Zaidas and other family members are most welcome) followed by a special overnight and day program for the Bat mitzvah girls.
The girls will have the opportunity to experience a whole Shabbat in a relaxed and fun atmosphere with special programs and workshops throughout the day. Full care and supervision will be provided by the staff at Chabad Malvern including, Reuvi & Menucha Cooper and another 2 program leaders.
The girls are asked to bring a sleeping bag, pillow, pajamas, personal belongings, modest Shabbat clothing and if possible a blow up matress. All food and nosh will be provided.
The cost of the Shabbaton is $120, however, we are committed to ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent any of the Batmi girls from attending. If this amount presents a challenge, please don't hesitate to reach out to Reuvi for assistance.
The Shabbaton will be held at Chabad House Malvern, 316 Glenferrie Road, Malvern and the girls are to arrive at Shul by 5:45pm on Friday 16 October. The Friday night service will commence at 6:15pm followed by the family Shabbat meal. The program will conclude on Saturday night 17 October and the girls are to be picked up at 8:30pm. Please register and pay for the program below by the latest 5th October.
