Bar/Bat Mitzvah
We at Chabad Malvern want to empower our youth with what it means to become Bar/Bat Mitzvah. This includes, learning true authentic Jewish values in a relevant and tangible way. We aim to instill in the children what it means to be a proud Jewish person living in the 21st Century and how this effects their day to day life. Above all we hope to plant the seeds and teach them life skills that will assist them in all aspects of their life.
To do this we offer a meaningful weekly class for grade 6 students, that bonds them together with kids from other schools on the same journey. In a warm accommodating atmosphere, they can ask anything they want as they learn the Jewish approach to everything in life. Together with the Rabbi’s and their family we create a suitable ceremony to celebrate their big day.
