Chabad Malvern ELC, established by Chabad House Malvern, is dedicated to serving the local community. Our ELC is defined by a strong commitment to passing on the Jewish spiritual heritage to the next generation. At the core of our philosophy are traditional Jewish values and ethics derived from the Torah, emphasizing a belief in G‑d, love for fellow humans, respect for parents, dedication to Torah study, and observance and appreciation of Mitzvot. Our goal is to foster the holistic development of each child, recognizing their self-worth, gifts, and abilities bestowed by G‑d, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives and contribute positively to our shared world.
Creating a warm, positive, and cooperative environment is paramount in our approach to helping children from diverse backgrounds grow and learn. We believe that a nurturing environment is essential for the development of children's self-esteem, confidence, and happiness. Our comprehensive program incorporates a balance of social, religious, and general themes, along with life skills, to ensure the complete development of each child. Embracing a child-centered approach, we tailor our program to meet the unique needs, abilities, and interests of individual children through developmentally appropriate and culturally grounded activities. This includes a balance between structured, unstructured, and play environments, providing safety, security, encouragement, and challenge.
We actively encourage the inclusion of children and promote the involvement and participation of staff and parents as collaborative partners in all aspects of the program, without regard to gender, age, ability, social status, or family structure.
Our dedication extends to empowering our children to become successful learners, confident and creative individuals, and active and informed citizens. We align our practices with the Australian framework of Belonging, Being & Becoming to ensure a holistic and enriching experience for each child.
