In Term 2 (April), Chabad Malvern will begin its annual Bar Mitzvah enrichment classes. This is a program that is open to all boys no matter where they are having their Bar Mitzvah. These classes are not to teach the boys their Parshah or Haftorah but to prepare them for their Bar Mitzvah with an understanding of their new role.
Through hands on activities and different speakers we help them learn more about Yiddishkeit and themselves as they develop into manhood. These classes have developed a reputation for bonding the children as friends and supporting each other during this exciting year.
We will be holding a meeting for Parents and sons to discuss and familiarize you with our plans for the forthcoming Bar Mitzvah Program which commences in Term 2.
It is integral that you attend this meeting so we can hear from you about your expectations and what you would like this program to achieve.
The meeting has been scheduled for:
Monday Evening March 25th
At the Chabad Malvern Youth Centre
353 Glenferrie Road, Malvern
Commencing at 8:00 pm
Concluding at approx. 8:45 pm

Parshah What Was the Mysterious Tachash? The exact identity of the tachash has been a matter of great speculation. Learn about its history in this well-researched

Video How Can Divine Forgiveness Be Purchased? In the Book of Exodus, the Jewish people are instructed to contribute a half-shekel coin towards the building of
the tabernacle as “atonement for their souls,” and the commentaries explain that it atoned for the grievous sin of the golden calf.
Moses assembles the people of Israel and reiterates to them the commandment to observe the Shabbat. He then conveys G‑d’s instructions regarding the making of the Mishkan (Tabernacle). Even when we make a genuine effort to associate with people who face life optimistically and to spend more time in uplifting environments, it’s still not always possible to escape undesirable ...
